TVS0500: Looking for TVS for USB4 application

Dear team,

I am looking for  TVS for below application. Could you recommend solution to this?

USB4 20Gbps/40Gbps,

ESD Air discharge>=15KV

Contact discharge>=10KV

BTW, I found there are TVS/ TSM/ TSD part number from website? What issue difference?

    Hi Ben, 

    A device that supports USB4 is TPD1E01B04, it has very low capacitance and can support up to 40Gbps. 

    Our naming convention is a bit all over the place but devices targeted more to surge protection (with ESD protection) start with: TVS, TSM, TSD, and ESDS. Devices targeted to ESD protection (with little surge protection) start with: ESD and TPD. ESD protection targets nanosecond range and the contact and airgap parameters. Surge is longer in the us range and you would look at max surge current as the main spec needed.
