I'm generating CVBS video from a Phabrix video generator. I'm sending a colorbar test pattern. (NTSC 525i)
When I examine the data pins of the TVP5150 IC from the FPGA, I get the desired data either the first time or sometimes. However, immediately afterward (I don't know how long), the data is displayed at 7F. The HSYNC, VSYNC, and AVID pins remain at HIGH. There is no improvement.
My register settings are below:
-03h >> 0Dh
-04h >> 2Ch
-0Dh >> 47h
-0Fh >> 58h
Also, if the data pins on the IC aren't driven, I don't get an I2C error, but if they are, I occasionally get an I2C error. However, it updates the status registers. I receive data from registers 88h, 89h, and 8Ch. Video lock signals are also received.
