DP83TC812S-Q1: DP83TC812S-Q1cannot go to sleep

Dear TI supporter,

My HW setting is as following

The Master and slave use setting in www.ti.com/.../snla389f.pdf
When set <reg><0x18C> = 0x02, the T1 bus is down, but get the status from <reg><0x18> is 0x8004 (Normal state)

The PHY seem stuck until reset.

As my understanding, since the WAKE pin is pulled to high, the PHY should not put the T1 bus to silent.
Could you please help this case.

Thanks for sharing details about this issue you're observing.

I have a few questions:

What is state of INH pin in this condition? Note that INH is active high open drain, so would recommend adding a pull down resistor.
Do you observe different behavior if you create pulse on WAKE pin?

A: In the HW design, the INH pin is pulled down with 2.49K resistor

Q: Do you observe different behavior if you create pulse on WAKE pin?
A: Current WAKE pin is connected to VSLEEP, so I cannot create a pulse on it to avoid damage. I'm using company design board, not evaluation board.

With this hardware setup, could I use the TC10 feature for sleep and wakeup?
