DP83640: Power sequencing requirements and ANA33VDD consumption

We have two questions regarding DP83640:

1. We would like to power the DP83640 from two different sources, powering IO_VDD w/a 3.3V (or 2.5V) of the microcontroller and powering the ANA33VDD PHY section from the generic 3.3V rail on the board. Are there any requirements on power sequencing on DP83640?

2. Section 4.5 outlines total consumption of DP83640 as nominal 88mA for 100BASE-TX full duplex operation. What is the breakdown of this number? How much % of current is consumed from IO_VDD and how much from ANA33VDD?

    Hi Lev,

    Please be aware that DP83640 is an older part with limited support. That being said I'll aim to answer your questions below:

    1. There are no defined power sequencing requirements for this part. The table below shows the relevant power up timing requirements:

    2.Unfortunately I cannot find a power rail consumption breakdown for this device. I recommend ordering the DP83640T-EVK and evaluating this through measurement.
