Hi,
Is there an I/O expander IC like the TCAL6408 where the I/O pins are open-drain (the internal MOSFET only pulls low) and the high level is provided by an external pull-up,
so the logic-high voltage can be set to any level rather than being limited to just 1.8 V or 3.3 V?
