We are planning to use TPD3S713-Q1 for USB2.0 interface for automotive cluster application for 24V truck application for navigation application. Our host processor is host processor (native USB 2.0 PHY) providing USB2.0 interface. Request you confirm the suitable part for this application.

    Hi Manoj,

    The TPD3S713-Q1 is designed for 12V low voltage applications in vehicles, thus it is only rated for up to 18V for short-to-battery protection. The best device, available today, for short-to-battery protection, in 24V low voltage applications on the USB2.0 lines, is TPD4S481-Q1. This part is a 4-channel Type-C protection device providing ESD and short-to-Vbus protection up to 63V for the USB2.0/SBUx and CCx lines.
