My customer plans to protect the circuit from the battery load dump which is about 60V, and I would like to promote MMBZ series. Is it okay to use MMBZ series for the protection from the load dump of the battery?
Battery voltage is 24V.

Hi Yamamoto-san,
Using the image below as an example, the MMBZ can be used to regulate gate voltage for the FETs. But I would not use the MMBZ diodes where the SMB TVS diodes are listed. The MMBZ devices do not have enough power capabilities to withstand load dump. I would recommend a SMB or SMC device for load dump.
