TXS0206: TXS0206 vs TXS0206A - What's the difference?

Hi, I've designed in the TXS0206, but notice there is a TXS0206A version as well, data sheet is newer, but don't detect a difference in spec sheets. Seems both are available, neither shoiw EOL.Are they totally compatible with each other? I'd like to be able to specify both.

Hi Doug,

TXS0206A is recommended over the non-A variant as it is considered an improvement over the base TXS0206. Both are suitable for SD card level shifting requirements though minor differences include:
-Higher Icc currents on TXS0206A
-Lower i/o capacitance on TXS0206A
-8kV ESD HBM on TXS0206

Great, I think we'll stick with the A version. We're driving a cable so the lower IO cap is good, thanks Jack
