Hi There,

I plan to use the SN65LVDS390.
Is it possible to pin swap the LVDS input(A and B)?

For example, I want to check whether the following swap is possible:

A:Differential (LVDS) inverting input
B:Differential (LVDS) non-inverting input

    Hi Satoshi, 

    From the perspective of the device's integrity, that should be ok and not damage the device as long as the driver is within the LVDS spec and you aren't violating any of the abs max ratings for the input pins. However, your logic will be inverted, so keep that in mind when designing the rest of your system.

    Thank you for your reply.

    So swapping differential signals is acceptable!
    However, since the logic is inverted, system consistency must be considered.
    This is an area that requires careful consideration.
