TUSB1002A: Cable detection feature

Hi team,

I am reaching out because I was wondering if the TUSB1002A also supports cable detection as feature?
This device is used to receive and improve the signal integrity of the signals for a USB-B connector. 
Is cable detection part of this device or do I need to use another device in addition?

    I'm not sure what you mean by cable detection here.

    The TUSB1002A will detect far end terminations on both channels before transitioning to active mode. This could be interpreted as cable detection as the device will remain in a low power state until the termination are detected on the super speed lines.

    However, the TUSB1002A does not have a output signal that can be used as a flag that a cable/ terminations are detected.
