Hi team,
We are considering level conversion for the QSPI signal (1.2V ⇔ 1.8V).
When SCK = 25MHz, is the TXB0304 suitable for level conversion of D[3:0]?

Best regards,

Hello Takahiro,
The TXB0304 can be used to support QSPI but please take a look at this E2E Thread. Since TXB has no DC drive strength, it's best to use short traces and placed near the controller and peripheral.

Hi team,
Thank you for your response.
It states that QSPI is supported,
but is this still possible when a MUX (TMUX1574RSVR) is present downstream?
I am concerned about the following points:
・DC drive strength
The DC drive strength is low, so the MUX may not operate.
・Operating speed
D[3:0] may not operate at SCK=25MHz due to the MUX propagation delay.
I am considering the following configuration:
・SCK=25MHz
・Level Shift(TXB0304) - MUX - QSPI Nor Flash

Best regards,
Hello Takahiro,
The issue is not the data rate since TXB can support up to 100Mbps

I agree, the issue with using this part is the drive strength, especially if we need to drive a Mux IC. The impact can be minimized if we place the TXS next to the MUX.

Josh
