TIC12400-Q1: What's the max channel number if we use matrix?

Hi expert,

Is 25+12=37 the max channel for TIC12400-Q1? I see that the 12 IOs can form 5*5 channel by matrix.

Hi Jass,

For a 5x5 matrix, we need only 10 IOs.

We can go up to a 6x6 matrix with 12 IOs. This takes the max channel count to 36+12 = 48.

Hi Jasdeep,

The figure 8-14 shows a strange connect topology. There are only 30-channel switches for 6*6 matrix. Could the middle 6 diodes also work as switches?

Hello Jass,

If you are referring to the diodes in the figure below, then yes, those diodes can also work as a switch.
