LMH1218: Could I use this application note to achieve that functionality?

Hi Team,

Posting on behalf of our customer.

I came across your application note TIDA-00428: “12G SDI and 10-GbE Video Over IP Repeater With Reclocker Reference Design.”

In my own project, I want to transmit a video signal in SDI format over Ethernet (IP) for long-distance transmission.

    The reference design does NOT support transmitting video in SDI format over Ethernet (IP). On the reference design, the LMH1219 adaptive cable equalizer receives the SDI signal and compensates for the cable losses encountered between the signal source and the input. The second input of the LMH1219 receives signal from the optical module and cleans up the jitter due to the optical media impairments. These are two completely separate data paths.
