Dear Team,

We are looking for a 10Mbps data communication solution that can operate over a 1KM copper (shielded or non shielded) cable wire without any degradation in speed. Cables like  J-Y(St)Y Lg fire cable ,Genesis 4631. This cable capacitance around< 300pF.

Could you confirm  DP83TD510E 10 BASE T1L support 10Mbps at 1KM data communication ?

Do we have 10 BASE T1L standard DP83TD510E different cables performancecable results ?

Kindly suggest more suitable chipset.

    Hi Vishal, 

    Since your requirement is long cable reach (~1km) at 10Mbps, the DP83TD510 device is the correct choice for this application.

    You can refer to this app note to see the cable reach performance metrics for 2 different cable types. The genesis cable you mention isn't a part of the app note, but as long as the cable meets the insertion/return loss requirements laid out, it will be supported.
