TCAL6408: Interrupt not coming it is always high

Part Number: TCAL6408

OEPL_HHTi_SWITCH_SET1_0825_V100.pdf

Hi TI Team

I’m using a TCAL6408 for a keypad, but the INT pin never toggles (INT side 10K pull up is there). The Interrupt Status register does change correctly when keys are pressed (I2C reads show the expected bits), so the expander is detecting key events but the INT line isn’t switching. I’ve already verified I²C comms, pin directions, and interrupt mask bits. Please advise — I can share register dumps and scope captures.
