Hi team,

My customer is asking MAX3120EUA+ TI cross.

Could you please suggest alternative?

Can TIR1000 be solution? Or, should we use MSPM0?

I'm not quite sure how to configure IrDA solution.

    Hi Kazuki,

    No the TIR1000 isn't a good replacement for this device. It looks like the comp solution isn't pin to pin and has its own internal clocking whereas TIR requires an external 16x clock. 

    I think you may need to check with the MSP team to see if they can support an alternative.
