Hi Expert,

My customer wants to confirm that the internal 1mA current source is considered in the IBIS model of the TCA9509? That is, is it already equivalent to include pull-up?

Similarily, does the IBIS model of TCA9517A contain pull-up?

It should include the 1 mA current source.

To double check, does the TCA9509 provide output high on A-side without an external pull-up resistance?

I believe the internal current source works as a pull up. Would you like to double check with your team.

Any comments about the TCA9517?

Hi Hailiang,

The TCA9509 should model the 1 mA current source in IBIS.

TCA9517A does not have internal PU resistors.
