TPSM82902: Alternate part for TPSM82902SISR

Dear Team,

Since i was facing a back drive issue in TPSM82902SISR so could you please recommend any Regulator which does not require output inductor and also should not back drive voltage from output to input.

Req:
Input voltage : 12V
Output voltage : 5V 2A

Hi Irfan,

If you take any buck we cannot avoid output to input.

You have to use back to back FET or e-fuse at the input.

Hi Hassen,

What if I add a Schottky diode ACDBQC140L-HF at the output side of the regulator will that cause any issue?

yes...you can add Schottky diode and no issue.
