TUSB7340: How to extend to USB 7-port

Hi Brian,

Thanks to your support, the design of TUSB7340 has been completed. And the customer is considering the extension of USB ports on their next model. So please let me know how to extend to USB 7-port using two TUSB7340, and share it with me if you have the reference materials for this design.

Hi Jeffrey;

You can use one TUSB7340 and one TUSB8042A hub to get 7 USB3/USB2 ports.

TUSB8042A hub upstream port is connected to one port of TUSB7340.

Thank you for your response. There is no technical documentation of using TUSB7340 and TUSB8042A. Is there any technical material for this application?

This is normal host-hub application, there is no specific document for it.
