TUSB7340: Speed and wake issues

  Did you use AUX supply for TUSB7340 power supply? Can you send schematic for review?

 for 2nd question, other USB ports on your system may use PCIe gen3 or 4 , which has more bandwidth than PCIe gen 2 for TUSB7340 host.

I appreciate your support.

The controller's schematics page is shown below.

3V3AUX_In is an AUX power supply, which is always available.

While testing the speed, no other device is taking bandwidth.

    does 1V1 supply from 3V3AUX_In?

   Can you send schematic for PCIe port as well?

   Can you get PCIe configure file for TUSB7340?

+1V1 is supplied by a DC2DC from 3V3AUX_In and is also always available.

What do you mean by PCIe configure file?

The PCIe port can be used successfully with other high-speed modules, such as NVMe, and the speed is much higher than needed in this design.

We also have a similar connector on other platforms, and the speed is low there as well.

Where is Wake and PERST connected to?

TSUB7340 is bridge between PCIe and USB,  from PCIe configure file , you can see how is TUSB7340 configured by system.

Hi Brian,

The PCIE_RESET# signal is the platform-wide PCIe reset. It's high at S0 and low at S3 - S5.

Please see the RW tool screenshot.

let me review PCIe setting first.
