Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DP83869
Greetings,
I have an application that is looking to use 1G Ethernet over a backplane to support some other legacy hardware. I believe that I want to implement this using 1000Base-KX.
I see that the DP83869HM supports 1000Base-X protocols. Does this include 1000Base-KX and if so, are there any additional design rescources/documentation?
The block diagram (from the datasheet) shown below is what I believe I want to implement. I'm not sure if 1000Base-X includes 1000Base-KX in this documentation.
