Dear TI experts,

Could you check the specification(values) of contact resistance of CANL and CANH pins?

Their end customer wants to know the information. expected results are <100mohm.

Please check this issue. Thanks.

    Hi Chase,

    CAN transceivers do not have a contact resistance spec because CANH / CANL are not mechanical contacts as this is dominated by the PCB / connector resistance.

    However, you may see the data sheet spec for the single ended input resistance / differential input resistance for functionality. This is the correct spec to use when evaluating line resistance or driver characteristics as connector or harness resistance < 100 mohm is a system level requirement and not typically an IC parameter, thanks.
