Dear TI Expers,

Pls. help to check whether TCAN1146-q1 can meet all requirements of ISO11898-2:2024?

The datasheet only mentions it can meet all requirements of ISO11898-2:2016…..

 

Whether TCAN1146-Q1 can be able to receive and send a Wake Up request via CAN according to ISO 11898-2:2024?

    Hello,

    The ISO 2024 version added sections on CAN Set C (CAN SIC) and Annex A (CAN XL). The CAN and CAN FD sections were kept the same. 

    TCAN1146 is a CAN FD transceiver so it is technically still ISO 11898-2:2024 compliant. The wake up requirements for CAN FD were not changed in the 2024 update. So there are no concerns in general for ISO 11898-2:2016 CAN FD transceivers being compatible with ISO 11898-2:2024 CAN FD transceivers.
