Jangsoo Lee,

The LV_SUPPLY drives the gate of the FET internally (as shown in the data-sheet). Its is recommended to use a resistor to limit the current in-case of a transient in your supply line. however, if your board design does not accommodate it, you can drive the gate without the resistor. the part will function normally.
