DP83867IR: DP83867IRPAPR LED operation from 1.8V I/O VDD supply

Figure 7-14 on page 48 of the datasheet gives a recommended implementation for operation of LEDs from at 1.8V supply to avoid dim LED lighting.  Can you please provide a recommended part number for the transistor?  Will a 2N2222A work or do you recommend something else?

    We do not have a recommended part for this. Any transistor that conducts current at a threshold voltage of 1.8V or lower should work. You'd also want to check that the transistor conducts enough current to avoid dim LED lighting.

    The part number you show should work, because the threshold (Base-emitter) voltage is 0.6V - 2V.
