TCA6424A: Can I2C address bé changed dynamically

Part Number: TCA6424A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCA9555

Is it possible tyo change the address of the device by driving the ADDR pin high/low without reseting the device.

The idea is that we need to have over 100 IO (5+ devices). My idea is using additional  control lines, one to each of the ADDR pin inputs of the  devices.  Then affectiively selecting one at a time by driving its address pin low and accesing By making one of the ADDR lines low, then only one device would be at the defined I2C.   Obviously we would only be tring to access this one device (the other n devices would be at the other address.

I was unsure whete the AADr pin was only recognised at power up or on the fly.
