Hello

What is the function of Bit 5 of register PHYCR (Offset = 19h) of the DP83826(A).
Is it the same as TLK105?

The combinations of the differnet LED pins and Modes is not easy to understand.

    Hi Thomas, 

    Please refer to the register 460h to configure different LED pins' functionality. This register holds LED configuration for LED1, 2, and 3 like below:

    Register 19h bit 5 is a typo on our end and will be revised in the next revision of the datasheet.

    Hi

    When will be the next revision of the new datasheet?
    Can you give me a hint what will be the suggested "anser" to bit 5 in the new datasheet?

    Background:
    We plan a new design with the DP83826I. but we use an bought stack, who configure the DP83826I like the TLK105 (same sw-driver).
    We didn´t have direct access to the PHY register through this stack.

    Hi Thomas, 

    The next revision will be some time next year, but we are planning to reserve this bit as this bit will not configure the LED as it is done in TLK105. 
    This is because DP83826 has a lot more options for LED configuration and this requires extended register access.
