DS110DF111: Driver polarity inversion

Hi TI experts. 
In the DS110DF111 datasheet, 
I read that the polarity of the 
differential lanes can be 
inverted. This is done by 
writing register 1F and 
register FF (to select channel 
A or B). What's not clear to 
me is whether only the TX
 pins are inverted, or the 
RX pins as well.

Hi Luca,

Writing to bit 7 of register 0x1F inverts the polarity of the output (TX).

Can this TX inversion, whether enabled or disabled, be stored on EEPROM so that it is applied at every boot?

Hi Luca,

Yes, this output polarity inversion can be configured through EEPROM. Here is an excerpt from the Channel Register Definition table in the data sheet.
