DS90UB960-Q1: Ti serdes link quality check

We are using ti953 and ti960 to transfer camera images. We find some torn image from back end recevier side. Is there any way we can check the link quality between ti953 and ti960?

Any guide about how to test the MAXIMUM INSERTION LOSS PIN-TO-PIN? Or any ti953/ti960 registers which indicate there is some link error find from ti960 side?
