Hi 

     TI960 can connect four ti953 serialziers. Any register from TI960 side can be read to indicate which port is connecting serializer and which is not?

    Hi Xingxing, 

    For diagnostics on the UB960, we recommend reading back register 0x4D, 0x4E, 0x55-0x56, and 0x7A-0x7B. These registers are port specific. To select the port to read from, please select the RX port in register 0x4C[5:4]. Errors may be flagged in these registers during start up and are recommended to be cleared first via read-back. LOCK is reported in 0x4D[0]. PASS criteria can be set in 0x7D. By default, the PASS criteria will follow the lock status. PASS is read back via 0x4D[1].
