DP83TG721S-Q1: RX_CLK Functionality quires

Part Number: DP83TG721S-Q1

Hi Team,

We planned to use DP83TG721S-Q1 Part in our current design.

I have a question regarding the RX_CLK pin and its function for enabling or disabling the TC10 application. As per Table 8-23, the description is "0 = 0 enable, 1 = 1 disable."

I am looking at Table 8-53, which states that 0b = disable and 1b = enable, Could you please clarify why there is a difference between this two table?

We are planning to disable the TC10 application in our design. Could you please let me know what is the required state for the RX_CLK pin should be in this scenario?

  • Hi Praven,

Table 8-53 is a typo which will be updated in the next datasheet revision. New 721 datasheet revision will be available within the next month.

To disable TC10, please pull RX_CLK pin high wth 2.49kohm resistor.

    Thanks,

    David
