Part Number: TDP142-Q1
Hi Teams,

Hi,
I don't see an issue with the TDP142-Q1 portion of the schematic, is it possible that you can share the entire connection from end to end?
Thanks
David
Hi,
It looks like the TDP142-Q1 schematic gets removed from the E2E thread, can you please attach it again?
The DT1140-04LP does not look like it can support DP1.4 8.1Gbps data rate. Its clamping voltage is also too high, which will not help TDP142-Q1 from potential ESD damage.
Thanks
David
Hi David,
I have re-uploaded the schematic. Could you recommend an ESD protection for us? Thanks.
Hi,
Please make sure the TDP142-Q1 input is AC coupled. For a possible ESD replacement, please check Nexperia PUSB3FR4.
Thanks
David
Hi David,
On the TDP142-Q1 EVM, both the DP main link input and output are AC-coupled and populated with 0.1 µF capacitors. Do both sides need to use 0.1 µF capacitors?
This is because the CPU source side recommends using 0.22 µF, and states that ‘DC blocking capacitors for the DP main link should be placed close to the DP connector.’
Thanks.
