DS125BR401A: Need SigCon Repeater Profile for DS125BR401A

Part Number: DS125BR401A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: USB2ANY

Hello,

I need access to the SigCon Repeater Profile for DS125BR401A. The information in SNLU178A seems to suggest that the profile for this part is contained within 'SNLC056' and the link below suggests it's only available through the secure site.

I am working on desiging the redriver parameters for a PCIe 2.0 x 4 link as I've encountered some signal integrity issues with the link limiting its performance.

Is it possible to design the parameters offline before hooking it up to the I2C bus of the redriver? I don't currently have the USB2ANY adapter to talk to the chip.

  • Hi Sai,

The link to request access to the folder SNLC056, is located on the SigCon Architect web page. It is found under the name:

    SIGCONARCHITECT-REPEATER-PROFILES — SigCon Architect Repeater Profiles v1.1

    As shown here

It is possible to create an EEPROM file to configure the device, but this will require using Flash Center or something comparable. The SigCon Architect GUI can be used in Demo mode to create this EEPROM file and save the corresponding .hex file with desired device settings.

    Best regards,

    Greg
