TMUX4821: When driving a TMUX4821 with an FPGA.

Part Number: TMUX4821

Hi TI,
It is assumed that the output of the FPGA is connected to the VDD and TMUX4821 is driven.
When the load connected to Dx and Sx fluctuates, how does the TMUX4821 power supply current behave?
Does the power supply current of TMUX depend on the current of Dx and Sx?

  • Hello,

Today and tomorrow are TI U.S. Holidays.
Responses will be provided on Friday.

    Thanks,

  • Hello Ken,

    How big are the fluctuations?
If the voltage on the input is increased, then the supply current will slightly increase as well.
In the datasheet we do guarantee a max of 125uA current supply in room temp. disregarding I/O pin conditions.

No, it mostly dependent on what voltage supply you are operating at. The higher the VDD the higher the current supply.

    Thanks,

    Nir
