Dear expert:

Two questions are as below: 

1) How to determine if there is a docking component after the MCU sends it to the CAN transceiver? 2) If there is no docking component, CAN RX always has data

    Hi Herbert,

    1. The reliable indicator would be wether the transmitted frame is ACKed. If no other active CAN node present on the bus, the transmitter should not see a dominant ACK bit and the controller may flag an ACK error and the frame may be retransmitted repeatedly. Hence, would recommend to double confirm the expectation from the controller.
