With a new microprobe design (medical world) I would like to use the new bidirectional ground-level translator for I2C TXG8122-Q1. For my application the difference in ground levels is just a few volts.
Since I'm designing very tiny hardware I saw in the datasheet the package WSON-8 [2mm x2mm] would be an option. The currently available SOIC-8 is too big.
Question: When will this WSON-8 package be available ? or can we get some samples. Or do you know a work around, I've to support I2C communication up to 1Mbps over a ground difference up to 4V.
