TLK1501: TLK1501- VOD(pp_p) min/max value for AC coupling

Hi all,

TLK1501 does not work with the value of 200 ohm in a 50 environment. (when AC coupled mode is chosen.)

We think RREF is directly related to VOD(pp_p). What is the recommend value of VOD(pp_p) for AC coupled mode? Please share min/max value as well.

P.s: If we use 50 ohm instead of 200 ohm, no error is occured.

Hi Mehmet,

The recommended VOD will depend on the protocol being used. The relation between RREF and VOD is shown in Figure 14 of the data sheet.

Thank you very much.
I am trying to understand min/max values of VOD for reliable operation.

For example, VOdd is given as 1.1V (RREF=200ohm) for 50 ohm system.

Does the chip work reliable if this voltage is 0.3V?
