Part Number: PCA9543A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX1574, TMUX154E
Hi sir
Nexcom need a 2CH I2C Switch for I3C (DDR5 SPD)(1V).
The Voltage of PCA9543APWR can’t meet the requirement.
I need your recommendation.

Hello Sean,
Are they looking for a mux that can be powered by 1.025V and pass I3C signals? Can it be GPIO controlled?
We don't have many mux options that can operate at that supply level.
Thanks,
Nir
Hi Nir,
Signal is I3C Low Voltage (1V) , Mux’s power can be 1.0V~3.3V
The other thing is:
Two Master and One device,
Besides, What are the benefits of the GOPI Controller?
If above criteria, pls kindly suggest solution, thanks a lot!
Hello Sean,
See FAQ for muxing I3C signals.
It is not a GPIO controller. I meant multiplexers that can toggle their channels through GPIO signals, like the TMUX1574.
You mentioned the PCA9543APWR which is an I2C mux where the channel toggling is done through the I2C bus instead of GPIO.
Will the TMUX1574 work for you application? How many channels do you want to mux in between? Two masters and one device, so it seems a 2:1 will fit. The TMUX1574 is a 4-channel 2:1.
Thanks,
Nir
Hi Nir,
What's the digital output current for TUMX154E? Couldn't find in datasheet.
This will affect the transmission distance of the signal.

Hello Sean,
The TMUX154E is a passive mux. We don't specify "digital output current" for it, or any other part in our product line. We only have passive multiplexers where the current on the switch is dependent on the signal you are inputting into it.
This mux will barely affect the transmission distance of the signal. It can be treated as a resistor on the line.
Thanks,
Nir
