SN65HVD71: Minimum Propagation Delay

Hello E2E Experts,

The SN65HVD71 data sheet, section 7.8 and Fig. 20, list the maximum tpHL and tpLH as 110ns. A typical value is included, but not a minimum.

Is there a minimum value other than zero that can be used to determine system setup and hold times, which in my case depend on the difference in receiver delay between two different devices?

    Hello,

    We do not have a precise value to give for this minimum time as it can vary widely (namely with temperature). 

    However, we have some general characterization data giving a value of ~30ns minimum across all temperature ranges. So if they need a rough value, they can use 30ns.
