MNMI_IVIS __ DISPLAY STREAMING COLOR CHANGE - ISSUE (2).pptx

Hi Team,

In this PPT, I have elaborated on that color change issue.

After replacing the new display IC, this issue was resolved.

Need to do the RCA for these ICs

We are planning to send the ICs for debugging. Please support

  • Hello, Thank you for your message. Our team is currently out of office due to the public holiday. We will respond to your request when we return on 01/20/2026. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Hi Hamzeh,

Please assign one of you team mate to check on this

  • Hi Shree,

This is the same issue discussed in this E2E thread: RE: SN65DSI83-Q1: streaming looks like Brown & Pink & Green

Our previous questions about this were:

    1. What is the frequency of this issue? Is it occurring on every system tested on every power up?

    2. Other than the color difference, is there any issue such as flickering or black screen? Please also check the 0xE5 register for any errors flagged.

    3. A color shift could be due to incorrect LVDS format. These are listed in the "LVDS Output Formats" section.
LVDS channel is mapped with LSB or MSB on data lane 3.

To switch the mapping, please use register 0x18[1].

    4. Additionally, is there any issue with the LVDS outputs? Is there waveforms in each of the LVDS data lanes?

Is there any other changes that could be related to this? For example, is there an issue with backlight?
Also, could you share how how the colors look when the issue occurs? Is it just that the output looks more orange rather than brown (expected)? Or is there also flickering or specks of other colors?

    Best regards,
    Ikram
