Hi,
We are using TPD12S016 as an HDMI companion/protection device, and we would like to confirm the power-up / power-down sequencing requirements.
In our system, we have:
-
VCC5V supplied from a 5 V rail (related to the HDMI 5 V line / hot-plug environment)
-
VCCA supplied from the system I/O rail (e.g., 1.8 V / 3.3 V), which may ramp at a different timing than VCC5V
Could you please advise:
-
Is there any required or recommended sequencing between VCCA and VCC5V (which one must come up first, if any)?
-
Are there any concerns if VCC5V is present while VCCA = 0 V, or if VCCA is present while VCC5V = 0 V (partial-power condition)?
-
During these partial-power conditions, do we need any special handling for control pins such as LS_OE and CT_HPD (e.g., keep them low with pull-downs until VCCA is valid) to avoid unintended behavior or back-powering?
Thanks,
Conor
