PCA9534: Master mode for PCA9534...

Part Number: PCA9534

Hi Team,

I need your help to check if PCA9534 supports master mode or not?

I suggest PCA9534 for NXP PCA9564 replacement since it is drop-in replacement.

However, customer needs Parallel bus to I2C-bus controller (Master) of PCA9564 and thinks TI PCA9534 is I2C to 8 bit GPIO (Slave).

Please help to check.

If they are drop-in replacement, that means the customer does not need any modifications, right?

If PCA9534 cannot support master mode, please help to suggest another solution if available.
