Part Number: SN75DP139

Hi team,

Could you please help to review the schematics? The main platform is ADL-S for HDMI 1.4.

  • Hi
    Below are the comments:
    1. ESD diode clamping voltage is 9V. This may cause the redriver to die in case of an ESD event because of too high clamping voltage.

  • Hi J,

Could you please help to advise what's the maximum ESD clamping voltage? VCC+0.3V?

Should customer need to replace the four ESDs of D1 D2 D3 D4? Can you confirm in detail how D1 D2 D3 D4 is replaced? Thanks!

    Rannie

  • Hi Rannie,

I apologize for being unclear. I meant for D2 and D3. It would be ideal to keep clamping voltage as close as possible to Vcc+0.3V to prevent our device dying and HDMI to ideally work even when there is an ESD event.

    Best,
    J
