LMH0324: EQ characteristics in 1.8V, 2.5V VIN

Part Number: LMH0324

Hello,

As we discussed another e2e thread (https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface-group/interface/f/interface-forum/1599930/lmh0324-eye-waveform-in-vin-vddio-1-8v) before, our customer understood the eye looks same in 1.8V VIN and 2.5V VIN case.

Does this because EQ power is supplied by 1.8V LDO in 2.5V VIN case or 1.8V external VIN in 1.8VVIN case, that means EQ block is supplied by 1.8V in any case ?

Please let us know if you have another reason why same eye performance can be seen ?

Best regards,

  • Hi Imi-san,

Your understanding is correct. In addition, the device is designed so that it will function the same way with different operating voltages. Otherwise, customers will not be happy to know that the device functions better on some voltages than the others when we offer multiple operating voltages as an input.

    Best,

    J
