I am looking for a RGB888-to-MIPI bridge and I found the SN65LVDS315. I am not sure if this is the best fit, do we have other devices and do we have something newer in our portfolio?

Hi Wouter,

That would be the best generic device. Anything newer will be more related to FPD-Link.

As long as it can fulfill the RGB888-to-MIPI bridge functionality it should be ok, which FPD-link device would you recommend?

Hello Matt,

We do not have a newer one-device-solution for converting RGB to MIPI CSi. However, you may use a pair of devices (SER - DES) to achieve this conversion.
You have multiple options, for example:

1) DS90UB933 (12-bit parallel input SER) --> DS90UB936 (CSi-2 output DES)

2) DS90UB927 (24-bit parallel input SER) --> DS90UB940 (CSi-2 output DES)
