Hi! I’m Su working in Finisar Shanghai. Recently a multi-rate EPON project has been kicked off. So I am very focusing following question whether your products can meet.

      1.       TIAs (Pre-amplifier) support dual rate, under burst-mode.

      2.       Limiting Amplifiers (Post-amplifier) support dual rate, under burst-mode.

        Dual-rate: 10.3125Gbps/1.2448Gbps

If can, please let me know as soon as possible. Details, such as datasheet or application notes, would be preferable.

If can’t be achieved in one TIAs or PA, please also give me your best advice based on your mature products.

    Hello Su.

    Our TIAs and limiting amplifiers have not been designed to support burst mode operation in the OLT. However, the ONET8521T can be used with an APD for the ONU and the ONET8501PB can be used for dual rate operation in the ONU.
