Hello guys,

One of my customers is considering using both, SN65LVDT348PWR and DSLVDS1048PWR
for their next products.

At this moment, they have the following question about SN65LVDT348.
Could yopu please give me your reply?

Q.
SN65LVDT348 termination resistor is 110ohm. 
Why is the resistor value 110ohm not 100ohm like DSLVDS1048?

    Hi Kazuya, 

    This is an old device, so I do not know the exact reason why the designers at the time decided on 110Ohms. However, the TIA/EIA-644 LVDS standard specifies a termination resistance range of 90 to 132Ohms, so this 110Ohm termination will still work for standard LVDS applications.
