PCA9534: Longevity and recommendation about PCA9534RGVR

Part Number: PCA9534
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCA9534

Hello,

We are suing PCA9534RGVR in many applications.

This item is not a new device.

  1. Looking forward in terms of new designs, please advise what is TI view Horizon about PCA9534RGVR in terms of life cycle and EoL plans.
  2. Can we continue and use PCA9534RGVR in a new design?
  3. Does TI see any EoL risk in the seens Horizon?
  4. Does TI propose a newer technology device to use instead of PCA9534RGVR in the new design (must be same fiunctionality, nut not must be pin to pin compatbile).

Thank you,

Ido

There is not an EOL plan for PCA9534RGVR in the near term or far term.

TCA9534 would be the p2p upgrade device, but it is not available in the RGV package type.
