Hi I'm trying to understand what 0x23 and 0x24 registers represent on the UH947 serialiser, i cant find any info on the data sheet in hand with me.

Hi Nirsh,
These debug/test registers serve as a diagnostic window into your chip's internal operations, helping you troubleshoot issues within the serializer's state machines, clock recovery, and other subsystems. While detailed documentation isn't available in the public datasheet (since these are proprietary diagnostic features), the key takeaway is simple: incorporate the provided code example from the other e2e thread into your startup initialization routine for every power-up of the 947 chip to ensure proper errata is applied.
Or you can just follow the latest 947 datasheet recommendation which is to include this code as part of your init sequence for every power up. This ensures the errata fix is always applied regardless of your polling state configuration, preventing potential issues while keeping your implementation straightforward.

Thank You Faid. I do have this implemented in my start up procedure.
How can i find documentation of what each of the bits represent in register 0x23 and 0x24. Can this be obtained by any means from TI?
Hi Nish,
Do you have access to TI's CDDS documents system? Requires TI NDA as well.
What region are you in and do you have any local Sales or FAE support by TI near contacts ?

Hi Fadi,
Nope, i dont have access to any of those what you have asked for.
I live in the United Kingdom.
Is there anything you can do to help with getting the complete datasheet?
Thank You in advance!
