TCA8418: a product that supports about 20 keys

HI,

I was wondering if you could recommend a product that supports about 20 keys.

I found TCAN8418, but it supports 80 keys, so it seems overspec.

The configuration is as follows:

SoC -- (I2C) -- Keypad scanner IC-- HW keys (about 20 keys)

    Hi Nishie,

    TCA8418E is our I2C keypad scanner and only scanner of its type. 

    A pair of normal I2C IO expanders such as TCAL6416 or TCAL9539 could be used to cover 20 keys. 

    An alternative is to use 1 x TCA6424A - 24-bit IO expander which would cover the 20 keys. 

    The reason TCA8418E is recommended is because it has pin configuration for keypad specific applications + digital debouncing for noise inputs.
